Do you take requests?
Not usually. Drawing a single picture can take too much time and effort, and I wouldn't be able to attend request for everybody. But I always accept ideas from people, and, if I am interested, I can draw them.
Sometimes I do take commissions.

What program do you use to make the lineart and colour the pictures?
At first, I draw a rough sketch using a blue pencil and then I use a normal pencil to make a clearer sketch [link]
After that, I scan the picture and make the lineart using Photoshop (like this [link]). That's the same program I use for colouring. However it isn't the only option you have. There are a lot of good programs which can be very useful. For example, I heard Paint Tool Sai is one of the best choices because it's easy to use and let you make very clear linearts. The reason why I use Photoshop is because I have more experience with it, but I can't rule out that I change it in the future.

How much time do you need to complete a full-coloured picture?
It depends on the details and the style. For example, a picture like this [link] with a single character and without a background could take about one and a half hour. Something like this [link] with a more difficult pose and a detailed background can take more than 3 hours (even 5, depending on my experience with the style of the picture). Pictures with multiple characters like this [link] usually takes more than 4 hours because every character has a lot of details.
And, of course, inspiration and motivation are very important

What's your favourite cartoon style?
I suppose modern cartoon style, because it's easy to draw and you can do very interesting pictures if you know how to use it

Have you ever done animations?
I have only done animated gifs using screencaps from TV series. But I've never tried to do an actual animation using my own drawings.

Do you colour using traditional skills?
Yes, sometimes I do. But it doesn't look very good because I don't have too much experience and my scaner is not very appropriate for that kind of pictures [link]

Do you use the mouse or a graphic tablet?
I have a graphic tablet which I bought with the money I got from the commissions and drew some pictures using it [link] [link] But honestly, I am more used to the mouse. My drawing style is very dirty, so I usually make a lot of corrections while I am drawing. I prefer having a rough sketch and fixing it with vectors than trying to make it very clear using the graphic tablet. It takes too much time for me.

Before you start complaining or trying to kill me through your computer screen, I have to say that I don't hate Futurama. Actually, I adore it. It's one of the TV shows I have enjoyed the most along those years. I even have some DVD packs with my favourite seasons. I love all the characters, from Amy to Zapp Brannigan, and I think Bender is funnier than the entire cast of the current The Simpsons. The scientific jokes aren't always very accurate, but they are still pretty good and one of the most original and interesting things in that cartoon.

I think I made it clear that I am not a brainless hater, but a fan. Then, why am I satisfied with the cancellation of the series? Maybe because I am one of those people who think that everything must eventually end. Sometimes it takes more or less time, but every TV show, book or manga will have to stop one day. And I think it's better if it ends when it's still great, funny and/or memorable.

Futurama already had six seasons and four movies (which actually counts as an extra season, according to Wikipedia). Not to mention the comic-books, the videogames, the awards and the special guests (Stephen Hawking appeared so many times he was practically a regular character ). The series already did its best entertaining and teaching us for more than a decade, and I am sure we won't forget it so easily. Don't you think it's better being cancelled with dignity than lasting until you become less than the shadow of what you used to be? Look at The Simpsons, they may be one of the most long running cartoon shows on TV, but the price they had to pay is too big. Sincerely, I like Futurama too much to handle that...

I will put a personal example before I end this entry. I know it isn't as amazing as Futurama, but I am a big fan of Dan Vs. The first season was ok, the second was way better, and the third was simply awesome (quite an improvement since the animation and the scripts of the first one). And then, they made a special episode and the series got cancelled. I admit I felt bad because I expected at least one more season. But after thinking about it, I decided it was the best they can do. Dan Vs. will remain in my memory as an entertaining but regular show which became better every season until it ended. It made me laugh and gave me some feelings sometimes. It taught me that you can create a show whose main character is a total jerk but make him a memorable (and unexpectedly three-dimensional) character.
So, I suppose it will be a good memory. I don't need more seasons or more revenges, I still can enjoy the old episodes.

Well, that's just my opinion. I hope I've been able to express it correctly in English. Remember that I am not trying to say that fans who want more seasons are wrong. I understand them perfectly. I just feel the cancellation is not so bad if the series has been already the best it can be

And I will say this again: the characters don't have to be in the same picture. If you ask for 5 characters, you can distribute them in different pictures. Sometimes it's better than putting all them in the same one (and honestly, I'd prefer it).

Finally, I finish my February exams and I had intention opening some slots for full-coloured commissions this month. But, after some considerations, I've decided to wait until Summer, because I will have more exams on April and June and I shouldn't accept more commissions until I am free enough to dedicate them the time and concentration they need.

Ember McLain (Danny Phantom). The idea is based on a conversation I had with *DLToon last year. Basically, it's about drawing Ember on stage, but with a different music style. I still have to decide some details, but I like the idea.
Paulina  (Danny Phantom) as a nurse, just because it's an old idea which I wasn't able to draw...
Some sketches featuring one of my OCs  in different styles. Maybe Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, My Little Pony, South Park, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, etc. Do you have more suggestions?
Sketches based on a crossover between Phineas and Ferb and The Rocky Horror Picture show. I already have the entire cast Another option is using Dexter's Laboratory characters in a full-coloured picture, because they also fit that movie.
A parody picture with Pinky Pie... I won't give more details, but it's something with a certain dark sense of humour.
Something about Flame Princess. After seeing her new look, I though of a ballerina or something like that (because of her dress). But speaking of dancing, I think it could be a good idea something flamenco-related (because of her... you know, fiery nature)
And maybe some collabs, I still have to think about this...

Hi again
I have some things to say about this new year. As you may know, I am busier than other years and I can't dedicate to my gallery the time I would like. This is my fifth year studying Medicine and it is getting even more difficult than the others. So I ask you for understanding and patience. Of course I would like to finish the commissions/trades/requests/whatever as soon as I used to, but I can't. There are also a lot of drawings and ideas I haven't been able to draw because of my responsabilities.

Anyway, I am sorry for the time I am taking to draw the things you asked for. I know this isn't very professional, but remember that, actually, I am not a professional artist and this is just my hobby

So, I want you to know that I will try to finish all the te things I have to do as soon as my exams let me. But sadly I won't be able to accept new commissions or trades in the next 2, 3 or even 4 months. I would like, but I can't. I may post some personal drawings as a way to combat stress, but I am not very sure about that because of my lack of inspiration.

EDIT: It seems some people are having problems with the ARt Jam rules. The idea is drawing cartoon characters disguised as movie characters. It can be a simple protrait of Phineas (for example) as Han Solo, or a complex picture with Phineas as Han Solo recreating a scene form the movie. But you can't draw Phineas meeting Han Solo or Han Solo in PnF Style.
Also, remember that an Art Jam is not a contest.

After I finish the last sketch commissions I have to do, I will be open for coloured commissions. But only one slot at time.
